Services
We offer complete solutions from co-developing complex parts to the mounting of assembly groups. We manufacture precision stamped and bent parts as well as plastic injection molding parts – all under one roof. This enables us to accommodate your requirements and demands in a fast and flexible manner.
Heat Treatment
In our two Safed fully automatic conveyor belt furnaces we banitize all varieties of carbon-steel. Bainite structure is formed by isothermal transformation during heat treatment of carbon steel. During this process the components are austenitized at 830–860°C/1,526-1,580°F and subsequently quenched in molten salt baths. Depending on the material, the temperature of the salt bath is set between 310°C and 400°C/590° and 752°F. The components remain in the bath at a constant temperature for a set time. This procedure makes tempering redundant.
Applications:
- Components with thin walls
- spring force stable components
Advantages of bainitization/austempering
- Best possible toughness while maintaining a high level of hardness
- Low level of hardening distortion
- No oxidation residue on the surface
